ICE Seizes 307 Sport Domains 4 Days Before Super Bowl! Hmmm…

The US federal government went on the offensive today and took control of 307 sport domains. Is it just a coincidence that the Super Bowl is happening in 4 days? OF COURSE NOT! This is the problem that hundreds of thousands of internet users have been speaking out against. Big content companies control the government. They speak out against certain domains and the feds jump right on them without any thought or due process. One surprising detail about today’s seizures was that .TV domains were seized. Many people including myself thought that these were untouchable domains for the US government since .TV  belongs to islands of Tuvalu. However they are run and operated by a US based company called Verisign. So they do in fact fall under the control of the US government.

The Galaxy Note from Samsung: The Perfect Phone?

Samsung will release a gigantic phone to the United States on February 19th on AT&T. The Note comes with a 5.3 inch screen which some say is to big for a phone. I however say it is the perfect size for Samsung to come out with for the US market. Right now you have so many Android phones being released. All of which look and act the same. Sure the software differs from manufacturer to manufacturer but the actual size and appearance is very similar. The Galaxy Note kicks all the rest of the phones to the side and says “Look at me world. I’m a phone and my screen real estate is bigger than yours!”.
